I love video games about people.

And I love people who play video games.

So, I decided to write about it.

You can think of this space as a sort of playground. I plan to use this however I think is fun at the time. This could look more like poetry some days and game reviews on others. The only thing tying all of these posts together is that it’s a space curated by me to facilitate the following belief:

Video games matter.

And so do you.

This is where we talk about that.

Should I be a paid subscriber?

I’m not planning any current perks for paying subscribers, but I did turn it on for the purpose of allowing people to support my efforts. If you believe in the message I’m trying to share, then consider supporting it in that way. I’m doing this in my spare time, so this is a labor of love.

But who are you?

I’m a lot of things, but in this space, I’m writing on the value of video games from the perspective of someone who plays many games and builds communities for people who play many games.

In my training and career, I’m a Christian pastor, but I have other spaces where that is more my focus. This is a space undoubtedly influenced by spirituality—but that isn’t the argument I’m pushing here.

I have more questions!

Ask away, I’m an open book. If it’s a question everyone would benefit from, I’ll add it here.

I write about video games that matter, because I think you matter, too.
